Production Manager

Responsibilities:
Oversee all plant operations for production, maintenance and machine shop Monitor expenditures in order to minimize costs Uncover new initiatives to optimize productivity and minimize downtime Analyze key performance indicators Ensure safety procedures are established and followed Ensure adherence to engineering specifications Implement measure to improve quality of finished product Recommend and implement process improvements Monitor and control cost of production Implements cost effective solutions to any issues that arise Encourage employee development Handle corrective action when necessary Monitor and approve attendance and time off requests Monitor all production personnel Conduct annual performance Analyze and propose measures to increase safety on production floor Recommend improvements to production processes Monitor equipment performance and resolve any malfunctioning machinery Ensure quality of product is maintained Assist in troubleshooting and set up of various production equipment Analyze and propose initiatives to improve efficiency in production line Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Ideal Production Manager will have minimum 5 years' experience Must be bilingual (English & Spanish) Must have experience within a production or manufacturing environment Familiarity with inventory control Adept at minimizing downtime and maximizing cost savings within production environment Familiar with lean manufacturing techniques Willing to take a drug screen and complete a background check
