We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Computer Instructor to ignite a passion for computer literacy among our students.
As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to present engaging technology lessons following our curriculum, while also providing technology assistance to ensure our students' success.
To excel in this role, you should possess flexibility and a supportive nature as you guide students in developing confidence in their computer skills.
A remarkable computer instructor will also demonstrate an understanding of the socioeconomic factors that may limit access to technology, making it a priority to acclimate students with little to no prior exposure.
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, outgoing, dedicated, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Computerwisekids Instructor, you will work closely with children aged 6 to 13 years old.
We teach technology classes in elementary and middle schools, where we teach children essential digital skills such as digital literacy, safety, productivity, creativity, coding, robotics, and more.
Our specialized software allows kids to become familiar with typing skills & mouse skills.
You will teach them various applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, animation, 3D printing, graphic design, coding, and programming.
Your approach to instruction should foster students' confidence in their abilities, and you will be responsible for observing and managing classroom dynamics.
We provide paid training.
Experience, Skills, and
Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of basic computer fundamentals Proficiency in software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Nurturing and adaptable instructional approach Passionate about promoting computer literacy and academic excellence Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities Ability to work collaboratively Preferred:
Own reliable transportation Preferred:
Background working with youngsters and/or experience with elementary and middle school students
